The church's regular services and outreach programs have been fettered by a lack of own church premises. Our congregation has embarked upon a land purchase and church building capital project to create a permanent spiritual home for our community.

Converting the Barn to Church
A timeline of how our community transformed a humble barn into our current worship space.
Initial Clean-up & Preparation
The community gathered to clear out the existing barn structure, making it safe and preparing the foundation for its transformation.
Structural Updates & Insulation
Walls and roofing were updated, insulation was added to ensure comfort during services, and basic utilities were connected.
Interior Design & Furnishing
The altar was established, carpets were laid down, and traditional Ethiopian Orthodox icons and furnishings were installed.
Current Stage: Sunday Worship
The space is now actively used for Sunday Divine Liturgy, Sunday School, and community gatherings while we plan our permanent structure.
